Delicious

Delicious is a networking site where you can share and save bookmarks.

This is very useful as it is saved on the internet so you can access your saved bookmarks at anytime on any computer.

I did not know a lot about bookmarks until recently and I have discovered how useful they can be and am looking forward to having all my bookmarks in one place.

Delicious is simple to use and will be very useful for me.

Flickr

I have just signed up to Flickr!
I have explored flickr before but have not been a member. i think this is a great site. It is different to facebook as it is focused on photos and movies and people who really want to show there photos upload here. It is easy to navigate and to upload images, as well as search for images, groups and other members.

You can find a photo of almost anything and other people with the same interests are using this site and looking at your photos as well. It is also easy to join groups. You can find many groups which suit your interests and post photos that you are interested in.

I like flickr and will continue to use it to publish my photos.

MPI104 week 3

MPI104 is an elective subject I am studying at Uni. This subject covers multimedia.
This blog will follow my learning throughout the duration of this subject and the new skills I develop. It will also be used for assessments and assignments.

Today I learnt how to create a web page and use links, codes, tags and html.
I didn't know how to use this before today and found it rather interesting and I am now looking forward to learning more about this and creating my own working web page. I found it very interesting that you can create a web page purely from text as I had no former knowledge of web page creation at all.

I found it a little confusing trying to work out all the links and codes but I am sure after more time spent on this subject I will find it easier.
